Maintenance Monitor

 

  • The Maintenance Monitor shall evaluate maintenance data forthe program Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) branch of the Integrated Test Team (ITT). This involves the collection of maintenance data being performed on the aircraft, mission control systems and labs. The Maintenance Monitor uses a worksheet to document the maintenance actions and to provide classification of a repair (i.e. maintenance induced or configuration change) to assist the ITT R&M Review Board (RMRB).

    There will be multiple Maintenance Monitors with varying skills sets (electrician, mechanic, hydraulic) pulled from prior aircraft maintenance experience. During the initial test phase there will be ahigh travel requirement, to include Palmdale, CA; Palm Beach, FL; and other locations as required.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    ·Monitor all on-equipment maintenance

    ·Attend flight briefs/debriefs

    ·Keep detailed documentation of events surrounding the maintenance performed to support RMRB classification of maintenance failure data

    ·Research off-equipment maintenance documentation to support RMRB classification of data

    ·Participate in RMRB when called upon

    ·Assist with Maintenance Engineering Investigations (MEI)

    ·Document excessive repair time, i.e. drilling out multiple stripped screws in a panel

    ·Evaluate Prognostics Health Management (PHM) data

    ·Keep inventory of software and hardware changes (serial number/software load number) to help manage and track configuration which will be used to verify fix effectiveness and help identify failure trends

    Maintenance Monitors will use OOMA (or designated maintenance system), they will ensure all data is accurate and in accordance with Navy 3M procedures and policies.

    Education:
    A high school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) graduate. Successful completion of a technical school, trade school, or advanced armed services technical school curriculum or course of study in electronics, avionics, maintenance, mechanics, or engineering technology.

    Experience:
    A minimum of three (3) years of recent military aviation maintenance technician experience. Unmanned aviation, P-3, or H-53 maintenance experience preferred. Maintenance monitoring experience in aircraft, weapons systems, or aircraft support equipment. This experience shall have led to the development of basic understanding of aircraft operating principles, theory, skills, and activities. Military experience in aviation maintenance is applicable and desirable.

    Human Resources Generalist

    The HR Generalist will be responsible for a variety of Human Resources functions both complex and administrative, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, employee relations, training, and compliance. This position will be the primary HR point of contact for the organization. The candidate should possess the ability to provide leadership and education on the firm score values, ethics and compliance, and overall HR policies. This will include partnering with management on employee relations issues to ensure fair treatment of staff and compliance with federal and state employment laws. This position is located in Lexington Park, MD with limited travel.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist within the DoD contractor industry
    • Experience with a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, policy development, legal compliance, compensation & benefits administration
    • Experience managing employee related files and database applications or HRIS systems
    • Experience preparing and presenting HR reports and metrics
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to be flexible, motivated, resourceful, and organized to work in a multi-functional role
    • Possession of excellent collaboration and client-handling skills
    • Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
    • BA or BS degree in Human Resource or equivalent experience preferred
