Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies engineering techniques, principles, and precedents to test and evaluate Naval Aircraft, weapons systems or aircraft support equipment
• Reviews, analyzes, develops, prepares and applies engineering, technical or maintenance specifications, policies, standards or procedures
• Plans and performs tests and evaluations of systems equipment or components
• Compiles, processes, reduces and analyzes engineering data, prepares technical reports, and presents results and recommendations
• Collects data and evaluate maintenance evolutions
• Creates Issue Concern and Event summary reports summarizing issues, concerns and processes witnessed while monitoring Triton maintenance evolutions
• Assists with the detection and documentation of possible reliability and maintainability issues
• Data mines and audits reports, such as IMPCA, MES, OOMA and paper maintenance reports, for uploading into the Universal Flight Test Database (UFTDB)
• Creates, updates, closes, scores and reviews monitor report for the Triton aircraft and NSIL
• Effectively communicate and elevate potential detrimental deficiencies for further evaluation
